Mason bees will be harvested and cleaned now, and ready to ship in early February 2024 (until late May 2024).
Cocoons are harvested in November, cleaned, candled, packaged and stored at 2-4 C until shipping. Contact us directly at Sales@BCBeeSupply.ca or 236 888 1484 in order to reserve sets of Mason Bee Cocoons. Or purchase reservations below!
One box of cocoons contains 10 cocoons (sometimes with 1-2 extra). Containers with mason bees can be set out adjacent to nesting tunnels in readiness for blossom time. Set cocoons out no later than mid-May.
Note:
- 10 cocoons will be in each box/package
- These cocoons kept in excellent condition until purchase. Once handed to customer, mason bees may emerge. No assurances are given or provided by BC Bee Supply. There are no guarantees, no warranties, no refunds and no replacements on mason bee cocoon purchases.
Note:
- All Live Bees are considered livestock and are not taxable.
- While BC Bee Supply will work on occasion send mason bee cocoons through the mail system, it does not provide any guarantees on any livestock product (honeybee packages, honeybee nucs, live queen bees, mason bees). Canada Post and other carriers cannot and will not provide any additional assurances.
All costs and risks are borne by the purchaser.
